Joel James MS, Senedd Member for South Wales Central, was today invited by Cardiff Oratory to a dedication ceremony undertaken by the Most Reverend Mark O’Toole, Archbishop of Cardiff-Menevia, for a statue of St Thomas More, the patron saint of politicians.
Speaking after the visit, Joel said:
It was so great to join some of my Welsh Parliament colleagues today at St Alban on the Moors Parish Church, Splott, Cardiff, as they dedicated a new statute to St Thomas More - the patron saint of politicians.
We were joined by pupils from St. Alban's Catholic Primary School and Archbishop Mark O'Toole of the Archdiocese of Cardiff Menevia.
