Joel James MS, who represents South Wales Central in the Welsh Parliament, has this week, shared photos from his visit to the Salvation Army's newest Donation Centre in Cardiff.
The Colchester Avenue centre opened in March, attracting long queues of shoppers eager to find a bargain.
Since launching its first donation centre in 2016, the Salvation Army has served millions of customers. The Cardiff location is the charity's 57th store of this type.
The centre offers a wide range of items for sale, including furniture, white goods, media, books, toys, and clothing. Additionally, it provides a free click-and-collect service for those wishing to donate larger items. The centre has quickly become a notable success in the community.
Speaking about the visit, Joel said:
It was brilliant to visit the The Salvation Army's latest donation centre in Penylan and meet with Nicola and the team.
Upon opening in March, people queued around the block to see the new Colchester Avenue centre, which offers furniture, homeware, fashion and electricals - it’s definitely worth a visit!
