This Saturday marks Small Business Saturday, a time to highlight small business success and encourage consumers to 'shop local'.
Each year, the day takes place on the first Saturday in December, with the campaign aiming to have a lasting impact on small businesses, encouraging local communities to support their local businesses.
Ahead of Small Business Saturday, Member of the Senedd Joel James MS visited 12 businesses in his region of South Wales Central sampling some of the best we have to offer.
Joel also produced a video documenting his trip across the region visiting these businesses. You can watch this video by clicking here.
Speaking about his visits Joel said:
Ahead of Small Business Saturday UK tomorrow, I’ve been out and about in my region of South Wales Central sampling some of the best we have to offer. These are shops and businesses that I’ve either known for years, come across them since being elected or have been highly recommended to me. I would encourage everyone to support Small Business Saturday this weekend and continue to shop local.
