Today marked the final day for Joel and his team at their office in Pontypridd. Located on Gelliwastad Road, this office served as Joel's constituency office during his time as a Member of the Welsh Parliament for South Wales Central.
It hosted meetings, advice surgeries, events, and drop-in information sessions. Since Joel was not re-elected in May, the office has now closed, and he and his team have been completing their final tasks during the shutdown period.
Reflecting on the closure of his Pontypridd office, Joel said,
Well that's it - the keys have been handed back to the landlord and the office in Pontypridd has been closed.
I really couldn't have wished for greater staff and though the office is closed, we've still got a bit more work left before everything can be completely shut down and finalised.
I'm so grateful and humbled by everyone who has been in touch since the election and I'm slowly trying to respond to everyone - hopefully we can also organise a quick thank you party soon as well.
