Joel James, MS for South Wales Central, shared details about an event he attended this week prior to the Easter Recess.
The event, hosted by Aberystwyth University, showcased the research being conducted in areas such as space weather and instrumentation.
Attendees had the chance to take a photo with the university's full-size model of the ExoMars rover, which was built in Aberystwyth.
Senedd Members also had the opportunity to meet with scientists and industry partners to discuss other planetary and space initiatives currently underway across Wales and the UK.
Speaking about the event, Joel said:
Before the Easter Recess, it great to see Aberystwyth University’s full-size model of the ExoMars rover at the Welsh Parliament.
Researchers from Aberystwyth University are at the forefront of space exploration, playing a crucial role in the ExoMars mission, which is set to land on Mars in 2028.
