War On Motorists

Does Welsh Labour have a problem with cars?

From imposing a 50mph speed limit on our motorways to introducing a 20mph limit on local roads, it seems that Labour is penalising drivers.

In Cardiff, Labour have increased parking charges, restricted resident permits, taken away on-street car parking, plans to introduce congestion charges in our city and have even consulted on tolling the A470, just outside the city.

Welsh Labour appears to be waging a war on motorists.

I believe this approach is completely unfair, but I would love to hear your thoughts. Please take a moment to complete my short survey below.

War on Motorists Survey:

Do you agree with Labour’s introduction of 20mph roads across Wales, despite the Welsh Government stating it would cost the Welsh economy up to £8.9 billion?
Do you support the Labour Cardiff Council’s decision to introduce congestion charges into the city?
Are you aware that Cardiff Council are consulting on charging businesses for staff to park at work?
Would you like to see an M4 relief road created to relieve congestion, particularly at the Brynglas tunnels?
The Welsh Government spent over £100 million on a much-needed M4 relief road before scrapping it. Do you agree with this decision?
The Welsh Government has axed all major road building projects due to environmental concerns. Do you believe new roads should be built?
The Welsh Labour Government have discussed introducing tolls for drivers on parts of the M4 and A470. Would you be happy to pay several pounds to travel on these roads?
Do you agree with the 50mph average speed limit zone on the M4 around Newport?
