Labour’s ‘War on Motorists’ has now stretched even further with their plans for a 'Family Car Tax' - penalising hard-working families throughout the city.
Not only have they introduced default 20mph speed limits on our roads and 50mph on our motorways, but they now want to charge residents more money for simply having a bigger car - and this includes electric vehicles.
What this means, is that families with SUVs or even tradesmen and women with their vans, will now all pay more.
This approach is simply wrong and completely out of touch with the pressures faced by working families and businesses right across Cardiff, and needs to be scrapped.
